Download day – Guiness world record attempt with FireFox

As web developers we use all sorts of browsers to test our sites and one of the best is FireFox. With its long and varied history starting way back with Netscape in the early nineties it’s fair to say FireFox has been keeping the browser world honest and a lot of browsers safe. To do so without being part of a major software distribution company and yet still been given away for free is even more of an incredible achievement and this is in no small part down to great little marketing ideas like World Download Day.
